Frank Lampard is my hero. Frank and I have a little in common. Frank loves football, which is also one of my favorite sports. He has a disease called asthma, like me. Despite having it, he is playing football because he has a much bigger heart. It enables him to play football all the time.
Frank Lampard was born in London on June 20, 1978. When he was a child, he was excellent at many sports and also at academic subjects. Then he played for West Ham United in 1995, and he belonged to that team for 6 years under a situation where the CEO was his brother-in-law and the coach was his father. In 1998-99, he played in all the games and was promoted to the England national team. However, his brother-in-law and father were fired for an unclear reason, so he transferred to Chelsea to change his environment. The transfer fee was 11 million pounds! From there, his amazing work started. In 2005 on December 28th, he made an amazing record, which was to play football games for 4 years (164 games) without break. During this streak, he wasn’t injured and also didn’t any suspensions. You can understand that this record is so great because the former record holder was a goal keeper. On April 24, 2008, his mother passed away before an important Champions league semi-final game. However, he participated in the match, assisted on one goal and scored by a penalty kick. After he scored, he showed a mourning band and dedicated his goal to his mother. Finally, Chelsea won the match against Liverpool, which was the same team his team had fought against in the semi-final the previous year.
Frank Lampard is my hero because I want to be like him when I grow up. I hope to play soccer well and have a strong heart which can pass through adversity and show my love and respect for my family. Most of all, I hope to show my gratitude for my family. I want to grow up be like Frank Lampard.
The event that has changed my life the most is moving to Toyama. I moved here last year in March, so I am getting used to life here gradually. There are some similarities between my life in Toyama and Tochigi, and also many differences.
In Tochigi prefecture, I used to live in a small city called Ashikaga. It is a beautiful and calm place. The oldest school in Japan is there. Many people visit it every day. I went there when I was an elementary school student, but in those days I couldn’t understand the importance of the building. Also, I used to live with my family in Ashikaga. I sometimes did housework, but basically my mother did it. While I lived in Ashikaga, I used to see my friends. My old friends are still in Ashikaga, so whenever I go back, I always meet them. Now, I’m looking forward to seeing them for the first time since the summer holidays. I have a dog called Koro, so I always walk him when I go back. Whenever I visit, he looks happy. I miss him now living in Toyama.
Although there are many things I miss about my life in Ashikaga, there are also many things I love about my life in Toyama. Unlike Ashikaga, Toyama City is busy, crowded, and cold. Furthermore, most people drive cars, so the traffic is horrible on the weekends. However, I always ride a bicycle to go somewhere so it is no problem for me. There are many tough things about Toyama. Now, I live by myself, so I have to do housework on my own. At first, it was difficult for me to do, but now I feel it is not so hard. The hardest thing comes in winter. It is the snow! I have never seen the amount of snow we get in Toyama in Tochigi. I was very surprised at first. I have gotten used to living in Toyama, so most things have become easy. In conclusion, living in another place is more interesting than living the same place one’s entire life because I can have more variety of experiences.
The first game of Manchester United was draw. They were hard to win, but New castle was strong to them. Manchester’s key player Christiano Ronaldo couldn’t enter the game because he operated his one of ancle. It is hard to Manchester he couldn’t enter the game. But, The team has’t lost yet about two games. They are now one victory and one draw and in nine class. Although the team is not so good, my favorite player Wayne Rooney will score a lot from now on.
I’m looking forward to one of our school events, Sports Day. Last year, I got 1st prise of men. I was very happy. I got five thousands yen gift cards. I spend it for my diets and I owed Suguru a part of his dinner. I’m in charge of Sports Day, so I decided the prises. Actually, almost all don’t change that of last year. Of course, I aim to the 1st prise this year,but I’m very anxious because the last time I was so lucky! If I don’t have any fortune, my score will be wretched. My goal is to exceed the last year’s score, so I must be above a total of 300 by 2 games! If I don’t exceed its score, I won’t become a champion. Anyway, first of all,I think ” let’s enjoy our Sports Day!”
I have been looking forward to play soccer today, because it helds only a week. Furhermore, we have newcomers today, Keita and Syota. I played footsal with them, but never played soccer. I think they are good at soccer. Keita is good at passing to someone. Syota is good at kicking a ball strongly, so we need them for soccer club.
